I graduated in August 2013 with a Bachelor's in Microbiology. I'm taking a gap year (or two) to teach English and travel. I've been in Vietnam since February 6, 2014. I just moved into an apartment in District 5, so I'm still getting my bearings, trying to find where everything is and settle into a routine. I'm picky about giving out my offline contact information and meeting people off the Internet. I've had some bad experiences, but I'm also just plain snobby. I already have expat and local friends. Unless you're particularly articulate and engaging, I won't put in the effort to reach out. I'm definitely not looking for dating or sex, because I'm in a relationship already.
