Hi 'Teaching Chile' is advertising job vacancies for teachers in Chile (advertised on Dave's ESL), but requiring a $50 "application fee" plus an unspecified "placement fee" that appears to be $1,200? They also required a 6 part questionnaire with ...

I recommend you contact the schools directly. I'll be starting my third year teaching in Chile this March. And I don't think it's as bad as people are saying. Yes, the wages are lower than you would probably receive elsewhere. But when you consider ... Read More

Does Chile allow dual citizenship? by wahoo!
I'm wondering once I've met all the requirements after moving to Chile, will I have to renounce my current citizenship?? Or does it only allow dual citizenship with certain countries? Please let me know, thanks :)

ATM's in Chile by 3lckr
Can anybody confirm that ATM's in Chile allow you to withdraw in US$? Thanks!

Not having a car here, I use public transportation quite frequently. I take the metro and a collectivo to work everyday. I avoid taking the micro because I find it's usually too crowded. But that's really just a personal preference. Most ... Read More
