Hi all,

What do you think about the means of transportation in Santiago ?

Is the network of means of transportation well developed?
What modes of transport are available?

Do you use them?

How much is a fare?

Are they relatively safe?

What is the mean of transportation you use the most in Santiago?

Thanks in advance for participating!

Not having a car here, I use public transportation quite frequently.

I take the metro and a collectivo to work everyday.

I avoid taking the micro because I find it's usually too crowded. But that's really just a personal preference.

Most places I go to are accessible by metro, micro or collectivo so I don't take taxis too often. I've been here for a year now and haven't had a problems with the public transportation in Santiago.
