I was born in Hungary. At the age of 17 I escaped the communist regime in 1956 and was fortunate to be accepted by the USA as an immigrant. After arriving in the USA I worked at several menial job until I joined the U.S. Air Force. I received a scholarship from the Air Force and studied at Arizona State University, where I received a B.S Degree in Mathematics. A few years and another scholarship later I received a M.S., Computer Science degree from Purdue University. After I retired from the Air Force with the rank of major, I worked for the City of Los Angeles as Director of MIS (now called IT). After I retired from the City I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where I reside to date. However, I spend more time in the Philippines now than in Las Vegas! I live in Ermita, Manila.
