Hi, I'm an Australian citizen with a long term interest in languages. My career however developed along the lines of information work. I graduated with an Honours degree in French language and literature, with majors in French and German. My postgraduate qualification is in information management. Many of my roles have involved work with technology in libraries but after a while I wanted to try something new so took up work in software testing. Due to the global financial crisis I lost my latest testing role and ended up with a full time job in a tertiary education library where I enjoyed picking up skills in technical support and administration of repository and learning management systems. If possible I'd like to return to my first love - languages - by working and living overseas, or at least in a company where other languages are regularly used. I'd also like to try something new again but recognise that my next role may need to involve using my existing skills.
