Hi('Bonjour' actually, as I'm from Montreal, Quebec (the French speaking part of Canada)I'm an EFL/ESL instructor who's been abroad mainly for over 20 years. Most recently taught in Seychelles, but before that almost a decade in the Gulf; (Qatar, Oman, U.A.E - in that order - all in all, rewarding to work/live but quite ready to move away from 'shop 'till you drop' Dubai and region, hence accepting a post at UK-H and am to start teaching there early January. I've heard people are very kind (despite all they've been through), the post sounds challenging. Done tons of research BUT what I really need help with NOW (no joke) is the contact details of a Government Vet or local vet who deals with Expats' pets, as I'm NOT about to abandon my furry feline who's been with me in all my posts. As a cat owner (and on the move every 2 or 3 years), I'm aware of most international requirements for importing pets, but need to procure the 'import lisence'/permit so my Qatar-cat can accompany me. Help much appreciated.
