I am 55 and extremely happy living with the most wonderful woman. My 3 awesome sons are in their early 20's and Engineers! I was born and raised in Pennsylvania (near Phila); then lived on Cape Cod (Mass.) for many years before separating (now divorced) and relocating to Fort Worth in 2015. I am a computer consultant and software developer; self employed since 1987. My client base/work projects as well as family vacations have allowed me to travel to many cities in North & Central America, Northern & Western Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Always interested in acquiring new knowledge, I love to read and listen to lectures from the Teaching Company. Marion and I intend to relocate to a seaside in about 2 years and, after much research, have chosen the DR as our first choice to investigate as our potential new home. We intend to work and earn money, but with a part time effort. We are very excited to learn all we can about the DR. We hope this forum can help and we thank you for making this resource available!
