Working for a big German tour operator as an international tour guide around Chalkidiki, west of Thessaloniki
I lived and dreamed about Greece since my childhood. Fabolous climate, amazing culture and people, stunning location and landscape I loved absolutely everything about that place :-)
The economic situation of the country drove me finally out of Greece, involuntarily. Having left the German employer I quickly found out that working and living in Greece is almost impossible. Corruption, terrible work conditions, no employees rights etc, very low wages which do not let you live in normal conditions in Greece - unfortunately!
I was born in Germany and lived there all my life until 2001 I left for Greece
Too restrictive, too many rules, not my kind of culture
