Have been to ug many times, bought some land and built a house near the river some time ago now, thinking of taking early retirement and moving permanently to escape the strain of western society. Always loved jinja and familiar with all the lovely people and it's surroundings so if any of you mazungu westerners can give me any of your experiences, pros and cons that have been living in jinja some time would much appreciate . Thanks

Kampala should just get out of your dumb cars and walk, get there in half the time, keep fit and stop belching out all that black smoke. Would love to import bycicles and hand out free .Only ever fly over this unfortunate place,
