Hi all, I'm a 30 female who was born in the UK but grew up in NZ. I went to live, study and work in Europe for eight years and moved back to Christchurch with my french partner in 2006. I do love this city although the one thing I find really lacking is the level of social life you can find in other cities overseas. I'm not sure if it is particular to this city because I haven't lived in Auckland or Wellington, for example, but I have heard many others complain that Christchurch can be a hard place to meet new people. I'm always interested to hear from others who have moved here from overseas, or have lived overseas and moved back. I'm also very happy to give any information or advice I can to people looking to move to Christchurch/NZ.
