After prepping myself for a move to Mauritius in what seemed to take about 2 years of research, I decided to stop by my native country of Sierra Leone about two years back from California. I figured, since I have family there it would be easier for me to reintegrate myself into the continent after so many years of being away. In those two years, I was afforded the opportunity to acquire a farm (which I'm working to include international partnerships for some of the exported crops and research environment); launch my fashion line (which everything is made in Africa, but styled with modernization that most around the world can feel comfortable wearing); and also blessed with the opportunity to carry out my consulting ventures in business finance/strategic management, etc. My main goal is to create an international platform for myself, while connecting those I come across to be a part of something that might be bigger than us. Africa is the new business frontier of opportunities for those who are able to see it, and I'm happy to be given the opportunity to come back home. However, Mauritius is where my heart is, hence the reason I would like to call it my home. Hopefully I will get the chance to do so within the next year.
