I'm a former ESL teacher with 5 plus years of university-level teaching. My wife, myself, and son (2 years old) are interested in immersing ourselves in another culture and getting away from Canadian winters. My wife and I are both TEFL certified and one of us hopes to work while the other homeschools our child and takes care of the domestic side of things. We are not looking to live an over luxurious lifestyle and hope to have a modest but culturally full life in Thailand on one salary (which we hope is possible) Thanks in advance for any advice and helpful tips that come our way.
