My name is Brian Knight. My electrical engineering experience has mainly been with software and hardware design for automated test systems in the defense, industrial test and measurement, medical and entertainment products industries. I think it's satisfying to create a system that involves both hardware and software components, especially when I bring up the first prototype. If I had to choose, I'd say I'm more partial to software design than hardware design, but I enjoy both. I think it's great that so many solutions are being created using generalized hardware with software defined functionality.
