OK I live near Torquay in Devon. I am thinking of moving to Spain next year, and have in mind a village/small town away from the coast, but with Alicante airport as my nearest . I am of a mind to rent first to make sure I am happy. I am self employed architectural designer, and ideally would like to find some employment in Spain. I am visiting the area in April this year to look at possible locations, and would be grateful for advice on locations with a local and expat community. My partner, Karen and myself are learning Spanish-I studied it at school.
