My wife, daughter and myself are looking at moving to Sri Lanka , is there any golden nuggets of info that would be helpful before we arrive?

Hablo English, bad English, and on occasion no English. The Boss speaks Russian, English and Ukrainian. The daughter speaks in guttural screams and soft coo's.
