I've moved here from the US where I sorta moved around the West Coast. Most recently I was living in Arizona where I couldn't understand people who said the desert was ugly. I lived in China once, and learned a bunch, but I'm in Glasgow now and the plan is to live here indefinitely.

I met my Scotsman online by complete accident and now here I am. Yes, sometimes I really am that bad at using the internet-oddly enough, I was working in tech support at the time. I love Glasgow and for the most part I feel pretty much at home here. It's just like Seattle except for with really old stuff!
I take access to copious amounts of Cadbury very seriously and I'm pretty sure if I had to move back to a country where a full breakfast was hard to find, I would probably burst into tears. Decent stout is all over the place and that ain't too shabby either! I love crumbly history, which is pretty much anywhere you look out this way, and I can't get enough of the old folk stories. (I didn't get drunk and disappear for several days, the faeries tricked me!)
I think my least favourite thing here is the lack of tumble driers, but honestly if that's my biggest complaint about this whole country, I should probably quit my bitching. I've also been freezing my ass off since I got here...in July!
I was bumming around China cause my ex was going to school there at the time. I'm pretty much up for whatever, so I went with. I had some pretty massive culture shock, but I learned a lot too. Like how to write some really crass gibberish in Chinese! Which is always fun. I've forgotten most of it now though. I should probably brush up on that now that I think about it...
This is going to sound silly, but my favourite thing about living in Beijing was 90 minute massages for $6. Nothing short of amazing.

I was born and raised in Washington State and I continued to hang around there for long enough to get a degree after high school. I got pretty cold in Seattle around that time and I moved to Texas to hang out with my grandma and live next to the beach. Unfortunately Texas and I don't get along all that well, and Washington seemed like a good idea after all so I headed back there for a bit. A few years later, I up and moved to Beijing cause my ex registered for a semester over there. After that, Oregon seemed like the thing to do and I had a pretty bitchin' time in Portland. But, Oregon is cold despite being pretty so off I ran to Arizona, which I loved, but left for my Giant. Arizona was my favourite. It was pretty and I've got some good friends there. Probably won't go back though.
I was born there and it's pretty. Sometimes. I can almost always find good Mexican food or, you know, just go to Mexico. Mexico is pretty awesome. I love a bunch of people in the States and they frequently make me laugh via Skype.
