@cyberescue1Is your British passport expiring soon? If not, the immigration would normally give you a 10 year card (permanent) after a 5 year card (Pre-Brexit). Before my renewal, I purposely renewed my British passport to have a fresh new 10 years ... Read More

I am not so sure about whether Brexit withdrawal beneficiaries are still regarded as European citizens. I heard about different versions from various sources that Article 50 residence permit holders are still subject to the same requirements (i.e. ... Read More

Private / personal pensions by cyberescue1
I'm sure I'm not the only Brit in Bulgaria, drawing from a personal UK pension and I'm equally sure, I'm not the only person concerned at the possibility of market or banking crashes, that could wipe huge amounts from pension pots. If this were to ...

Sharing my views towards your idea of cashing personal pension to buy properties in Bulgaria for solely rental income, I am afraid that it may not be a good idea to invest properties in a country with declining and ageing population. The country's ... Read More

@janemulberryIt is true that the immigration lawyers are now very cautious on proper documentations because Bulgaria is now a full Schengen member state and they will join the Eurozone by 2025. If I were you, I wouldn't try to invest EUR320,000 on ... Read More
