It's hard to adapt to any different culture - but a lot depends on where you are in Brazil. Rio and Sao Paulo are more cosmopolitan, it's easier to find other expats. But anyway, the hardest thing to get used to is probably the social gap. Your ... Read More

I'm living in Argentina and am thinking about making a trip up to Brazil sometime soon. Can anyone recommend any of the beach-towns in the Southern part of the country? (i.e. south of São Paulo). Cheers

I'd suggest Picinguaba - a little paradise north of Ubatuba, SP. You can google map it. Just don't go for the pousada, which is very expensive. Search online and you can find more affordable rental houses and rooms. Read More
