When you want to leave Egypt they check your passport at the airport and when they see that your visa has expired they will send you to another window to pay the fine, then you can leave. It takes like 10 minutes.. Read More

I asked my husband, as he remembers the visa extension fee is like 8 EGP or so - it is really cheap. The fine you have to pay for expired visa is 150 EGP per person (for children you dont need to pay the fine). Read More

Yeah, you can stay for 1 month, you need to ask for the 3 months extension before it expires. Then you can ask for another 3 months and then again and again. You will get it. I dont remember the cost of visa extension, but it was not a big amount. I ... Read More

You can get a 3 month extension for your tourist visa with no problem at the Tahrir square. (the process, the accountants and the office is horrible and depressing though, crowded, dirty, smoky, some ugly, ignorant office workers etc.. I hated it so ... Read More
