That's the eternal question!!!

The rfevolution halted the building of the centre that Ikea was supposed to be in - but I think the construction has restarted (but watch this space it may yet stop again!).
AL Futtaim - who own the brand in the region and the CEO of Ikea said that theyw ere not reconsidering - theyw ould still go ahead and place the store in Egypt.
But I am surprised that they have not been more active in finding a sutiable place to start elsewhere in Cairo.
They must have their plan and are sticking to it.

There is a facebook page Ikea Egypt - but it is just some guys who import some small things and sell them at a high profit (not worth it).

yes they will open the first brunch in Cairo festival city mall nasr city ring road but they late due to the revolution.

It is now open, Ive been there last week. Just what I expected, bought a couple of things to my kitchen. Things are cheaper than in the Home Center, but as I see pricier than in Europe.
