Although I have been a volunteer in Siem Reap schools and village programs for several years, I have just relocated to Siem Reap after eight years working in Bangkok; the previous twelve in Budapest. Im a native Southern Californian from La Jolla and a teacher at heart, primarily a trainer in English and Spanish as second languages. On the side I have been an importer/exporter of ethnic and primitive art, with an emphasis on Latin America and S. E. Asia. I have also had several art related galleries in California, all with a focus on the ethnic. I now concentrate on my company, the California Language Institute (CLI). We specialize in tailoring English language training at the corporate level, within the hospitality industry and for professional educators and volunteers. I have been active in the Meet Up and Toastmaster International organizations and intend to build both locally. My intuition told me many years ago that Siem Reap was the best place for me, and I finally listened to myself. Im looking forward to meeting new friends and colleagues.
