I am from Canada and visiting Europe for many months. Is it affordable to buy a decent used car in Montenegro? Does it make sense, rather than renting cars for months? How does one go about insurance?

I have always heard cars are more expensive in Montenegro than anywhere else in Europe, and many people in Montenegro buy cars in Germany or France in order to pay less... Plus, you cannot have a car registered in your name in Montenegro unless you have a residency card or a company, which makes it a bit complicated. Maybe someone else can recommend another country in Europe where it is easier to purchase a car.
