Travel and Medical Insurance (Please help)

Post new topic

Hey everyone, I'm Ricky and planning to move to Mauritius in February 2022 via the Premium visa with my wife. I'm looking into the different travel and medical insurance companies and I have to be honest, it's confusing.

Has anyone used the below comapnies:

  1. SafetyWing (they seem to offer both travel and health insurance)
  2. Genki

I'm open to know what most people use and how affordable each one is. I got a quote from Allianz for 380EUR for my wife and I for health insurance and I'd still need to get the travel insurance separate (seems to be a pricey approach).

Looking forward to hearing from you all.

@Ricky Gore Try joining specific Facebook groups like South Africans Relocating to Mauritius, you might see another perspective. There are several groups with the same name, try these 2:

  1. facebook.com/groups/southafricansrelocatingtomauritiusgroup
  2. [link under review]

Hope that helps.
