Validity of RP after Resignation

Hi All,

i have a small query.

I was working in Italy before and now I have raised a new Single Permit to Belgium.

I resigned my old job and is still waiting for my single permit to arrive.

my question is, whether I can use my Italy RP (which expires in 2023 April) to travel to Belgium or do I need to raise a new D Visa?

considering I resigned, the work permit might get nullified?
