Hi, i am pasting here the mai i sent to IND, (No reply yet)

My wife is applying for the Orientation year visa and i am applying along with her as a dependent. We both live in Europe for a while, She is under work permit and I have a EU Long term permit. As we expected to travel  together to Netherlands, Kindly clarify on these doubts,

1) > Should we apply as two separate  applicants (taking two different V number from the consulate) and send applications in different envelopes ?

   > if so, which is the application form for the Partner in my case.? (7518, 7525 or 7519)

  OR

  > She should apply for both of us, along with her application form by adding the application form for the Partner in the same envelopes ?

   > if so, which is the application form the Partner.? (7518, 7525 or 7519)

2) As I  have EU long term permit, if we use "Application for a residence permit for a 'long term third country national from outside the EU' (sponsor) '7519' ", When my sponsor (my wife)  is applying for her orientation visa together with me, is the purpose residence becomes conflicting or wrong ?

3) While applying together from abroad under orientation visa, if the purpose of residence is " You are married to the foreign national or you have a registered partnership with the foreign national. You have the Dutch nationality or you have a Dutch residence permit (320 - 340)" or not ?

   > if yes what document can be used instead of my Sponsor's Dutch residence permit ?

It would be great help because our appontment is so near.

Thanks

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

There is an FAQ PDF document on the IND website directly related to your questions; this link will download the file to your device.

I hope this helps.
