Upon purchasing any property in Cyprus, stamp duty is payable. Stamp duty must be paid by the buyer within 30 days of contract signing, on the contract value as follows:

[Rate 0.00%] Contract Value: €0 - €5,000

[Rate 0.15%] Contract Value: €5,001 - €170,000

[Rate 0.20%] Contract Value: €170,000 - Unlimited

@Toon does that mean the 1st 5k is zero and then bands after or is it just the rate for the value?
