Want to become a Brazilian citizen

Hello,


I'm a American citizen  and want to apply for citizenship under my daughter who has dual citizenship but lives in the U.S. she's 19 yrs old. Does anyone know if I would qualify under my daughter?

You both will have to move and live in Brazil. You'll first have to apply for PR based on having brazilian child. Then after receiving PR,  you'll have to continue living in Brazil for at least 1 year continuously, learn Portuguese language, pass it's proficiency test and then you can apply for the citizenship. After that, you have to continue living in Brazil untill the process completes, and your address is checked /verified physically by Policiai Federal agents. Usually this takes around 1 year these days. So all in all, you are looking for at least living 3 years in Brazil to become a brazilian
