F Card - Divorce and Child

Post new topic

Sdr48

Hello. I came to Belgium  1 year ago by marriage. I have decided to divorce my wife.We have been living together at the same address for 1 year.We have a 10 month old baby with Belgian ID.I also have my own company inBelgium.I have a f card for 5 years. In this case, is there any possibility of sending me from here because I have a child who is a Belgian citizen and because I have a company? And also my salary is high. my lawyer said that it was difficult for them to send because I have a Belgian citizen child and a job. But I'm still trying to be sure.Because I don't want to be separated from my child.I'm curious about your ideas and suggestions.

@Sdr48 Just because you have a belgian child, you are safe. You are under constitutional protection, Just inform foreigners office with help of a lawyer or by yourself, when you are divorced or when you start to live separately(on a different address)
