End of service benefits and pending salaries.

Dear All,

I am an expat working here in Saudi Arabia for more than 15 years.

My previous company has put me in trouble despite I worked for the company with honesty and always tried to achieve the targets with better prospects. It was weird that they were not renewing my residential permit, thus I could not go for the vacation to see my family back home.

I want someone to guide me, if there is any solution for misery that I am going through. Actually, I was having salaries pending with my X-employer and my residential permit was also expired having faced such kind of situation I sought help from HRSD Saudi Arabia. They suggested to transfer my sponsorship under Article 81 and then lodge a case. I followed all the steps and my employer doesn't show up for the HRSD meetings. In context, the case was forwarded to ministry of Justice.

The fact of the matter is the case is decided and during negotiation I accepted huge deduction of the claimed amount with an intention that the remaining amount will be paid. It is strange that employer is running his business nonstop and do not respect the judicial system. It seems there is no out come on cards and things are getting worsen for the people who opted for the legal system.

It is very clear even though MOJ decide the case in favor of an expats the employers do not mind it. I contact MOJ and they told me to submit request through Najiz for the disclosure of all accounts, I did it but no result.

Kindly suggest what to do further to get my hard-earned money?

Saudi Arabia has its own plans and targets are set. We do appreciate the initiatives and the vision 2030 milestones. The development in non-oil sector is remarkable. The new projects announced and the tourism flow to Al-ula is a great achivement. There are areas yet where improment is required, job market for expats is worst hit and people are suffering who want to avail facilities based on the new rules established by Goverenment of Saudi Arabia.Human resources department and Moj cases are increasing rapidly mostly due to nonrenewal of Iqama and pending salaries.Nodoubt cases are disposal quickly by Hrsd and Najiz, but employers do not pay to plaintiff. Therefore employee has to suffer in both cases, first employers accuse them for opting legal procedure and after decision legally  they won't get paid even.To my understanding Najiz has just provided provision like disclosure of properties and accounts but no action is been taken.Employers run their business through other company registrations and leave the accounts empty where there are labour disputes. It is our paramount obligation to reach to the authorities to explain such glitch  in the procedure to avoid suffering of the expats living in saudi Arabia.Nevertheless Saudi Government has  established such E-services for the benifits of expats but employers always find way out to run away from the obligations.Any help or suggetion will be highly appreciated.
