Moving to Saudi for work with Girlfriend (unmarried)

Hi, I have been offered a lucrative job in Saudi and am thinking of accepting & relocating for a year from the UK. I have a long term partner however and understand the strict laws agains unmarried couples living together, however wanted some advice from people living in the country already.

How strictly are these laws enforced? Or is a blind eye turned? Also assume visas would be an issue?
