Reputable Glaziers

Post new topic

DonDanA

Hi I wonder if anyone can help.

We’ve just built our house in Albion. We are now looking for glaziers to install windows and bifold doors etc.

If anyone has used glaziers recently or can recommend any company does a great job we would be grateful.

Kind Regards

Hi Laura91

in answer to your question building wasn’t difficult as we were very lucky to have found a fantastic Architect Jean Philippe Cleopatre who provided a great service and listened to our needs and went with it. He done all the necessary paperwork for the council. Only delay was we had to reapply for the building permit because of Covid and lockdown etc.

He also has a team of builders who I’m sure could have done a great job with the building of the house. Unfortunately he was very expensive well over our budget.

During lockdown my son in law managed to find a few building on line Contractors and eventually we felt comfortable with Ziyad Aumeer contractors. We spoke with him and he sent us a breakdown of how he operates…. A separate quote for the electrical work and plumbing and one for the actual building.

After lockdown we went to Mauritius and met him. He took us to a house he was in the process of building.

Then strangely enough he had finished a house on the same road as our family home. So got first hand recommendation!!

He is a very nice person and has his team who works extremely hard. Our house has been built while we were home in the UK. With constant contact and pictures on WhatsApp and Facebook he made it very easy for us.

I would definitely recommend both the Architect and our contractor. We will be going to Mauritius in March and seeing the house for the first time which is really exciting.

Also Ziyad is doing other jobs at the house. But a very busy man.

I have to say we are very fortunate to have both Jean Philippe and Ziyad who we truly trust. If you need further information please let me know.
