My contract is already finish, and my iqama were going to expire soon. i ask for them to release me so i can find new job. but they did not want to. i checked my qiwa, and i found out there is new contract there, but i never signed any contract after the last contract. I joined them with local transfer but now they did not want me to release. Can anyone give me advice what to do? 3days remaining until my iqama expire. thanks

Within these 3days you must find new sponsor and tell him to immediately take your transfer , he can direct transfer from Qiwa, till you did not sign the contract, but must be before due date of contract. They can't stop you to go new sponsor. so make it hurry

@xEnNxYx  You could have terminated the contract from your side in QIWA 30 days before it’s expiry.

Please contact the MOL call centre’ 19911’ and choose QIWA for their support.

And if your iqama got expired, You can transfer to new employer without approval from your current employer. (Provided transfer request shall be send by the new employer only after your iqama expired)

@xEnNxYx if your contract is already finished and you still go to work, it is already implied contract, you should have done letter 2 months before contract finished indicating that you will not continue your work with them your contract ends.

@Akprince after my iqama expired, they cant stop me for transfer? and i dont need also there approval after my iqama expired? even i have new contract in qiwa but never signed?

xEnNxYx

@Nios007 even i have active contract, if my iqama expired, they cant stop me?

xEnNxYx

@florgem i never go to work after my contract finished. but now there is new contract in my qiwa. and my iqama will expired on feb13.

@xEnNxYx yes , Iqama expired. You can transfer immediately but make sure the day your Iqama expired you accept the contracr from new employer.

@xEnNxYx don’t sign the contract on Qiwa, otherwise this means that you renew the contract. If your iqama is going to expire in 3 days that’s good for you. This means once it expires, you can directly transfer to other company without them even noticing.
