Starting a business in Dubai

Post new topic

Hey everyone,

I recently joined a company that helps people start a business in Dubai by providing them all the needed steps and info.

There are many shark companies here that will ask you to pay unnecessary fees just to make more money from your back, so please be carful who you speak to!

For example, I met a lady that wished to buy a home in Dubai, she is not a UAE national. She was being helped from a 'company' that advised her to open a business first to be able to buy herself a home, which is basically a load of bull.

I am posting this message for those who need a helping hand, please message me if you are not sure on what to do or who to speak to before you start business here in Dubai.

Hi,

If anyone wants help in setting up there accounting records and getting the books audited I can be of service. Its imperative that even small business owners maintain accurate and detailed accounting records as you know UAE will be soon implementing Corporate taxes. UAE is also implemented VAT in 2018. If you have your

Invoice and expenses details in excel or if you need better way to manage and streamline reach out please.

This is a great point about being cautious of misleading information!  There are definitely companies out there that take advantage of people new to Dubai's business landscape. It's important to remember that compliance with regulations is crucial in the UAE, especially for specific sectors like real estate, crypto, and businesses under the Dubai Non-Financial Free Zones Authority (DNFPB).  Failure to comply can lead to hefty fines or even business closure. It's commendable that your company offers guidance on the necessary steps and information for starting a business in Dubai.  Transparency and accurate information are key!In addition to the business setup process, some businesses may also require ongoing support with areas like:Taxation: Understanding and complying with any relevant taxes in Dubai is vital. [Your company's link to the taxation page can be included here] can offer some insights, but for complex situations, consulting a qualified tax advisor is recommended.AML (Anti-Money Laundering) Compliance: For businesses in certain sectors, having a robust AML compliance program is mandatory. [Your company's link to the AML services page can be included here] provides some information, but again, for specific needs, consider seeking professional guidance.By seeking help from reputable companies and qualified professionals,  new businesses can set themselves up for success and avoid potential pitfalls.
