Updating the Philippines guide

Post new topic

Anne-Lise Mty

Dear members of the Philippines forum,

I hope you’re doing well. Our editorial team is hard at work and we’re looking to update and review our Philippines guide before the end of the year.

We would like to better cater to your needs and as such, are asking YOU what you would like to see included in our next update. Are there any specifics about Philippines that we overlooked in the current guide? Is there something you wish you knew before moving to the Philippines that you could not find in the Philippines guide?

If you are looking to move to the Philippines, is there any information that you would need that you don’t see included in the current guide? The team is looking forward to hearing from you.

Have a great day !

Hello Alex,

I'm not sure I understand. You'd like us to include flight information to Italy ?

Hello Anne,

good to know your working hard to improve the site. Maybe some information about local festivals and celebrations might be good , by region.

Ditto and adore the replacement pic - we couldn’t see you clearly in the first one 😉

Lotus Eater - Funny that I have not changed my picture so I wonder what happened.

Oh I'm sorry I meant Anne-Lise! And she's much prettier than you CherryAnne ;)

@Anne-Lise Mty It would be great if you could add information on the "Doing business guide" it's not clear to me whether a foreigner (or foreign company) can own a business (eg call center) in Philippines without a Filipino partner. There's lots of conflicting information online. Some say a local partner is required who has to have 60% ownership. Others that a foreign based corp can own 100% provided revenue is generated overseas. Thanks!

On top of that there are exceptions based on type of business.
