Flight tickets - where to buy in KL

Post new topic

roadrunr

I'm arriving in KL next week and need to buy onward tickets fairly soon after arrival - is there an area / street(s) in KL that I should visit to start my search for competitively priced air tickets ( travel to a) Indonesia and then b) UK. This would be easy in a city in Thailand but I don't know if the same exists in KL. If there isn't such an area can anyone recommend an online resource or recommend a travel agent in KL.

That's one but the airlines also use online booking.

Maybe the issue has been settled already but its not a matter of what street to go but what airline to use. If the travel is local, Airasia is probably the best choice and that can be done on their website. Otherwise, i always use skyscanner.com to look for flights and then book directly on the best airlines websites and not use any recommended travel agents.

Im aware that while in Thailand (or Vietnam too) you can go to an agent on the street but Malaysia doesnt really have that. In fact, the agents with offices are usually extremely unhelpful unless one is booking a tour with a large group of passengers.
