People might appear desparate here, whereas in their normal environment, they would never dream of openly advertising for companionship.  By the way, I notice your path shows a Thai flag, then Saudi flag. Are you Thai?  I used to work in Thailand over in Isaan. I used to speak Thai, Isaan and Nua (Chiang Rai/Chiang Mai dialects) but I've forgotten alot from lack of practice since then. I really miss Thailand. I go there every chance I get, except this particular Ramadan, I went to Philippines.  I read some stories on the internet that due to some past incident, the two countries severed diplomatic relations. Supposidly Thai's aren't allowed to work in KSA, but that obviously must not be correct. I guess this has nothing to do with your post, just wondering out loud. Sorry to get off the topic, folks.

I completely agree with djness and it's not just about being away from home but a bit more inclined towards being in a position to cash upon the situation.
