Anyone have credible source as to what's going on re Causeway?

Anyone crossing into Bahrain over last few days knows how bad it is. Anyone have credible source as to what’s going on? (Saudi side obviously the issue)

things that seems strange:

it’s only exiting Saudi that is a problem. Plenty of booths open entering saudi
the overflow that is usually open on weekends etc is not being used
now only letting a few into the causeway causing huge queues getting to the Saudi toll booths (but I think that’s to keep commercial traffic flowing)
started finger printing at immigration (but airports do this to)

so anyone credibly know what’s going on?

Causeway back to normal as of a couple of hours ago! Busy but all lanes back open and cars are following through to the Bahrain side

i guess we will never really know what the issue was…
