Can I leave Bahrain with “Employment visa in progress?

Post new topic

Hi, first I apologize if the answer is already obvious but I just wanted to make sure.

I wanted to know if i can drive to Saudi Arabia for a day and come back

My employer already paid for my fees and has sent me my “Residence Permit” paper, which i cross-checked with the NPRA website by scanning the code. But everytime I check the LMRA expat portal, it still says “Employment visa in progress”

Anyone knows if it’s safe to go to Saudi?

First check with LMRA if your visa is issued and valid.  If so, you can.  If not, you can but the process will start again.

Thanks for your reply!

Would I need to physically go to LMRA or can I check my visa validity somewhere else online?

https://services.bahrain.bh/wps/portal/TravelBan_en not all bans are visible here, as mentioned previously you must ask someone to visit NPRA with your passport copy to confirm.
