What don't you like about Canada?

I recently moved to Canada as a Permanent Resident, and let me tell you, I was shocked when I landed and had to live here. Previous visits I was just seeing the country from a short-term perspective, but after living here for almost 4 months, I've come to several realizations:

  1. Canada is difficult. It is not so difficult, but its not easy to live here. the food is EXPENSIVE and not all too tasty, not like back in the middle east.
  2. Tax is murder. To anyone that says you use government roads etc. I've lived in countries that did not take any tax, and the infrastructure is as good as, if not better than, Canada. The problem with tax is that it falls on the common folks, the employees, to pay, whereas as business owners find creative ways to avoid it.
  3. No locks on doors in apartment buildings. The landlord has a key and can waltz in whenever they wish.
  4. No space for washing machines/ dryers in apartments, forcing you to have to use the washing facility, which after a few times in the year really ends up being a budget.
  5. Spaces in bathroom stalls, what is up with that? WHY?!!
  6. No bidets. Canada has natural water everywhere, with plenty of snow etc. and yet, they still choose to use toilet paper, like savages? Why? First thing I did when i moved into my house is got bidets installed.
  7. VERY HIGH COST OF LIVING. You cannot fix a simple electric problem, plumbing problem etc. without having to pay an arm and a leg. Why?

Those are just a few of the problems I see; not to say there aren't good things here too, but we're talking about problems now, so we can figure out if we can fix em.

Trudeau, Higgs, Ford ...  Do I need to go on?

Canada, the true North strong and free, has become a herd of sheep willingly taken to the slaughter house.  By the end of Trudeau´s minority government there will be nothing left of the Canada I chose as my home in 1972.  Canada has been very good to me like for most other Canadians for a long time, but now nothing is left of this but it´s name and the boundaries.  The pioneer spirit and the faith are gone.

@legacy One thing I don't like about Canada is unpredictable climate change.
