Hello everyone,

Our youngest child (13 now and attending his second year of secondary school in public school in Brussels -saint-boniface), has recently been diagnosed with attention deficit disorder. He’s finding hard school (managing, but stressing enormously and spending all his time studying, because of  his constant distractions).  He’s an intelligent kid so his diagnosis came rather late since he was managing just fine in primary school and only recently he started to struggle, and as a consequence they identified his problem. Assuming he passes his CE1D, we would like to see if we could find a place in another school. We are thinking about a smaller school (more human, and maybe with smaller classes, which would probably already help him ), or a private school that won’t be too pricey and where he will be able to continue his academic years in French which is the language he’s been alphabetised in. Anyone amongst you with kids having the same problem? And if so, any advice you could offer? Any schools that you could recommend?

thank you
