Thank you all for your excellent posts regarding py they have been extremely helpful!

I have a unique question.  Internet plays a vital role for me when living offshore and I’ve noticed on another thread the py providers.  From what I’ve been researching you can get a line as fast at 15mbps but the costs are simply outrageous.

I need at a minimum 3mbps down/ 1mbps up true international speed so this means when I do a ping test to a server in Chicago or NYC I’m getting the above results.  I usually find packages around 10mpbs+ are the only way to achieve the above mentioned.
With that said I’m not willing to drop $1500 a month on a 15mbps line, does anyone know of either

a) High speed fiber for 1/10 of the cost as shown above in Asuncion

b) Shared high tech offices / complexes with these internet connections and contact information regarding getting leasing space?

Thats what I just measured.After 8pm I should have 2 MBytes download speed.I pay $33 per month.

You can check out Copaco's (the National Telephone provider) prices here:

I can only say I'm very happy with their service and get what I pay for.

About your question (B) I have no idea.

Not bad for $33usd a month.  I can't believe an ISP is actually delivering what's advertised.  I can live with their 4/5mbps rate of 150 if I actually get that speed as you have shown.  Thank you for running the speed test and providing the link!!!

I'm in Puerto Vallarta now and my ISP advertises 6mbps but delivers around 1.5 with constant outages.
