My D7 visa process has been almost 9 months. When I ask the consulate about my D7 visa process status, they do not respond. For detailed information, they said that you can ask questions to SEF via e-mail. I am thinking of sending an e-mail to the following e-mail containing my request and my personal information.

Does anyone have any ideas or is in the same situation?

@kocali HI, you are not providing enough details. Are you in Portugal? Have you had your first appointment with SEF? If yes, did you submit all the required documents? Have you tried to call SEF? Because if you are already in the country, you have no business with the embassy anymore.

@joePT1 As I mentioned above I'm still in D7 visa status and communicating with consular in embassy .Therefore I am not in Portugal right now.

Consular advice me to talk directly SEF to ask  status in D7 visa progress

Thats why I'm not sure to ask directly to SEF this topic or anyone already has this experience before

I'm also in my hometown and couldn't make an appointment since nobody answers the calls. So I've tried an agency to make an appointment for the summer.

I would like to clarify that I am in the D7 approval phase in my home country. I would like to send an email to SEF only to get updated information about the approval phase of my D7 visa. Not for the SEF interview appointment after the D7 visa approval.
