Good morning, I'm working in Tanzania but unfortunately being made redundant on 31st may, we agreed terms I was happy with. Now my empoyer wants to take my passport to cancel my permit 1 do they need my passport to cancel? 2 won't that give me no visa to continue working to my end date and be legal in the country?

I'm worried if I had it over i wont get my payments but also worried I will do something wrong
