International school advice

SmyNJ

Hi, my husband and I and my daughter are planning to move to Mauritius next year and we will start on building our house in the south east coast of Mauritius.

I would like to get some recommendations for international schools in the south please?

Also we’ve been looking at Le Bocage international school at Montagne Ory but is there any facility of van or transport or are there anyone from the Mahebourg area whose children attend Le Bocage? Any advice would be most helpful. Many thanks

If you contact Le Bocage they should be able to provide you with the contact details for the companies they use for the school bus services, and you can then ask directly (I would think there would be one for the Mahebourg area but don't know for sure). On a side note, in case you are not aware, Le Bocage follow the southern hemisphere school year which runs from January - November

By the way, Le Bocage and West Coast school are the nearest international schools to Mahebourg for kids 11+ (both about the same distance I would think). Le Bocage is generally considered to be the better school.
