@stillbiker Will be back next week. I am quite surprised to hear that there are some french guys or french speaking guys who live in Baguio. I have spent 4 years there, got married there, had 2 daughters...but only once been told about one Swiss guy which I have never seen.

Serai de retour la semaine prochaine. Je suis très surpris de savoir qu'il y a quelques francophones qui vivent à Baguio.

bigpearl

Honestly guys this is an English forum, do us the curtesy of following the rules please.

Cheers, Steve.

@bigpearl I am ok with that. We are not many alien residents here -once one takes distance from Manila capital region so it would be great if we can find fellows living not too far from each other who might share some common cultural heritage while speaking English.

When I was there in 2008 I dined regularly at a Swiss owned restaurant about half way up Sessions Rd. Delicious food and imported cheeses.

Plenty of expats in Baguio even here north of San Fernando city I have 15 to 20 neighbours from all parts of the globe, we all keep to ourselves aside from a once or twice a year party and in between the cordial wave.

Cheers, Steve.

Let me make you aware.

On December 24th, 2021 you made a post in French that was under review.

Diksha the Moderator on the Expat Team explained to you why your post was under review.

She said: "Hello Everyone, Please note that only English is allowed on the Philippine Forum".

Hello everyone,

It does happen from time to time to members who speak/write several languages (english/french).

However, @Stillbiker, this is a strictly Anglophone forum. The forum exists in 5 languages that can be changed at the very bottom next to site map.

The francophone forum is here : Forum Philippines (in french please)

I invite members to send you a private message should they be interested in a meet up. You are also most welcome to open a new topic for both anglophone (In english) and francophone (in french please) forums.

I am closing this thread.

All the best

Bhavna
