Thank you, Gracias, Maltioux, Merci for the link that you sent me about how/where to apply for Temporary Residence in Guatemala. I really appreciate it.

I'm originally from Corpus Christi, Texas, but have also lived in San Marcos and Austin, Texas.  I've made quite a few trips here to Quetzaltenango (Xelajú) over the years and have finally decided to apply for a temporary residence and hopefully a permanent residence in the future.

Again, thanks for your help.

@joellunasilva you're welcome. According to the Attorney I use the easiest temporary residency to get is "Student", you can study anything you want as long as you do it at a school registered with the ministry of education.

If you know...is it also easy to get a temporary residency (or permanent residency) if I marry a Guatemalan citizen?  I would imagine!!!  1f60d.svg1f60d.svg1f60d.svg1f60d.svg1f60d.svg !!!
