Medication - Contraceptives

Post new topic

Ashleigh01

Hi there,

I am relocating to Mauritius on 20 June and was wondering if anyone can guide me on medication I may bring with me. My gynae has written me a 6 month script for my contraceptives, and I was wondering if it is recommended to bring my 6 months supply with me? Or is it better to get a script from a doctor in Mauritius and purchase it there? The brand I use is Minerva.

I haven't found a clear answer through my online research and hope that someone can please point me in the right direction :)

Many thanks in advance,

Ashleigh

Hello you can buy contraceptive pills over the counter. You don't need a prescription.

Bring all 6 months supply. Just have your original prescription on hand. I normally bring supply of prescription medication for the duration of our stay however long it will be and have never had a problem.
