Maldives employers won't give you job without visa, visa is free please don't pay your agent for visa just go to their website and fill the form to show them you are coming, kindly note that if your flight is going to be 5 day in Maldives before your departure you must pay for reservations for 5 days and they will call the place to confirm, my dear if you live in Maldives for more than one month they will post your pictures online and before 24hrs you will be caught and deported.. Emanuel you will face 500 frustrations in Maldives on tourist visa than the hardship in Nigeria and I bet you won't want to go through such,  you will turn yourself to immigration for deportation when nobody gives you a job of 10usd without work visa and by then you must have finished the money you travelled.. lastly the worst mistake you will make in your life is going to Maldives as a way of japa and to avoid had I known kindly avoid your agent and look for another alternative..
