And watch the supposed guards run for the hills at the first sign of trouble?

I wonder if arty5987 had security and gates in the US? Philippines is far safer, watch the news.

OMO but if you need that st1t you are in a danger zone and the OP simply asked about gates, fences and barbed wire for his needs and as said not about your pompous ego.

I suppose you have no pollution in your guarded enclave as well? The security systems keep it out or you grew lots of trees? I'm pretty sure I know your number from another site, branching out now?

To Larry, sorry but it appears we have a serial frustrated soul that can't make a decent contribution only sarcasm and cynicism, he won't last long here.

OMO.

Cheers, Steve.

Moon Dog said . . . .I have a remote controlled gate opening system that I have yet to install.

Remote gate opening is a good idea because your house is set back. You have a lot of Lazada deliveries, maybe a doorbell + CCTV so you can see who wants access.

Bob we have a doorbell and camera at the gate, chimes in the house and our phones all off the net and we can see who is at the gate and talk to them, tell them we are coming, even if on the beach, great range and only like P 2,500. Best thing since canned sardines.

Also takes snap shots of those coming to or walking past the gate, motion detector.

I prefer baked bean cans connected with waxed strings.

We're also blessed with no homeowners association butting into our business. If we want to paint the house black and pink, nobody will stop us. We can walk around off our property and pick fresh wild papaya, mangoes, bananas, to our hearts content. We have roosters crowing in the mornings and families of 5 on their motorbikes going to school. I love our freedom and humble lifestyle. Exactly what I retired for. I'm up at 4am and on the porch with my coffee watching our little world here wakeup. What could be better?

@bigpearl Beautiful style to the gate and garage... much envy here.

Really?

Absolutely Bob, he has a perfectly large ego, can't you pick up on that?

I'm thinking of putting up some barbed wire to boost the inability of some to see we all have choices.

Cheers, Steve.

Our entry gate is being installed today. Sideways roller, with a man door. Stainless steel, custom made.

Ours is a more humble home. Smaller property, deep back area with a piggery housing 4 sows and 21 fatteners presently. Supported with bio-gas tanks keeping smells minimal and offering free gas to the dirty kitchen whenever we want.

How do I post pics here? I don't have tinypic account. seems like a hassle?
