New build disruption

Hi still searching for a new home. Found one we like very much in Tala but it has open non- green land on one side and also in front of property but this slopes away steeply. The land to the side has already been subdivided into individual plots, the land in front not. We love the property but are very concerned about the disruption noise dust etc if building started and how long this could last. Does anyone on the forum have experience of this happening to or near them?

To be fair it happens all the time ..builds generally last 18-24 months

But I have seen some builds promised for completion at 16 months ..

it will take longer than they say it will thats for certain.The dust will cover your garden daily!
